We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team and support the learning and development of all students, including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Responsibilities
Providing academic and emotional support to students, including those with SEMH and SEN, both in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis
Collaborating with teachers to create and implement tailored learning plans for students with diverse needs
Facilitating inclusive and engaging learning activities for all students
Assist in the management of behaviour and emotional support for students with SEMH
Establishing and maintaining positive and supportive relationships with students and their families
Qualifications
Experience working with students with SEMH and SEN
Knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies and behaviour management techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Relevant qualifications and/or training in education, special education or related field
