As a key part of our security team, you will be the front line defender, monitoring activities and reporting any incidents using tools like wands and metal detectors.
🚨 Position: Relief Security Officer
🕒 Hours: 30 hours per week
🚗Transport: Driving Licence
🔒 Requirements: 3 years’ experience in Security with a valid SIA licence.

- Protecting the customer’s employees, property, and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements
- Display an outstanding level of customer service
- Patrolling duties
- Fire and safety responsibilities
- Take responsibility for problems that staff and visitors may have
- Display the highest standard of personal presentation and smartness of uniform to maintain the image of Securitas and the customer
- Answer telephone calls professionally and in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
- Book on at the beginning of each shift and make check calls in accordance with Company policy
- Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the Branch Management
- Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company
- Valid SIA Licence
- Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
- 3 years’ experience in security
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive approach
- Excellent risk management and problem-solving abilities
- Good administrative skills, including incident report writing
- Proficient in IT and computer systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle complex situations
- A keen focus on providing excellent service to both staff and visitors
