We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Housekeeper to join the team at Fremington Manor, our residential and nursing, country house care home. Fremington Manor has views over Fremington Quay and is at the heart of village life in Barnstaple, Devon.

What you will be doing:
- Ensuring that cleaning, laundry and domestic equipment is maintained by staff in accordance with manufacturing instructions and health & safety guidelines.
- All minor faults and repairs are reported promptly and recorded.
- Ensuring that rooms for viewing are presented to a high standard.
- Preparing schedules which identify and allocate responsibility for daily, weekly, monthly, annual and cyclical cleaning / maintenance tasks.
-Ordering stock of cleaning products and PPE including ensuring all First Aid boxes are appropriately stocked and sited in accessible areas in the event of an emergency.
Who are we looking for:
Previous experience within a care home setting is not essential – but we want you to come in and enjoy housekeeping!
A real desire to create a fresh and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy.
